Open Positions
The Flock Service Technician position is a technical position and is a key link between the growers, flock owners, and company management. The position is responsible for all aspects involved with weekly visits and management oversight of contracted poultry flocks. The specific aspects of flock management overseen include, but are not limited to: bird health, ventilation, feed and water management, blood and swab testing, weighing and reporting observations, and management recommendations. The position requires on-call duties for flock health and management emergencies. The schedule of flock visits is flexible but must be prioritized based on biosecurity and flock health concerns.
- Must have a valid PA Driver’s License and clean driving background
- PA Certified Poultry Technician license is preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- B.S. in agriculture field of study or equivalent experience is preferred
Sunday – Thursday
This is a professional truck driver position that involves over-the-road and tight farm maneuvering skills. Most runs are within a 150-mile radius of the Lititz, PA-based facility, although occasional overnight runs may be required. Starting and completion times for runs will vary on a weekly and daily basis, with several days’ notice provided in most cases. Trailers involve hydraulics and lift gates, which the driver is expected to operate in farm environments, while assisting with cart loading/unloading. The appearance of the equipment and the positive interaction with customers are important to the Risser’s Poultry brand, and drivers are expected to represent their company accordingly. Safety, both on the road and on the farm, is of paramount importance in all cases.

The Project Billing Coordinator is a critical role responsible for overseeing the invoicing process, tracking project costs, and providing valuable insights through financial reporting and KPI analysis. This highly collaborative position ensures accurate and timely invoicing for services rendered by RP Transport, Risser’s Poultry Handling Services, and Risser’s Poultry. The Project Billing Coordinator collaborates closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on budgets, billing accuracy, and project goals. This individual will play a key role in identifying process improvements, maintaining customer records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable or related administrative role.
- Excellent at multitasking or organizing
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks with little supervision
- Must possess good written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with technology required: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) and Billing software (Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, etc)
- High school diploma and 1 year + working in an office setting
This is a professional position that is responsible for maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, such as DOT. This position requires close interactions with customers, suppliers and subcontract haulers and is a high-visibility leadership position, which is important to the Risser’s Poultry brand. The Truck Drivers report directly to this position and all related direction, motivation, issue resolution, discipline, training, evaluation, safety guidance, etc. of that group is a primary responsibility of this position. The ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment will be necessary for this position. It is critical that this person demonstrates a high level of leadership and can manage people effectively.
- Familiar with State and Federal rules and regulations for the operation of commercial vehicles
- Minimum of three years of verifiable supervisory experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred, but minimum high school diploma formal education level.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
This is a professional position that involves the dispatching and weekly scheduling of trucks, drivers, and related loading equipment for moving live poultry to, from, and between farms and processing plants. This position requires close interactions with customers, suppliers, and subcontract haulers. Regular administrative duties are a large part of this position and consist of the review and completion of job sheets, shower logs, the creation of directions, and job details. On occasion, personally driving a load in a backup or fill-in situation may be required, so all qualifications and job duty requirements of the Truck Driver position also apply to this position.
- Minimum of one year of verifiable dispatch, logistics or transportation coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of route planning, load optimization and DOT regulations
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Must have attention to detail and accuracy
